    Realistic Metalic effect from a paint

    Alclad is the closest thing to looking like metal you can get with a paint. It needs to be airbrushed though, no brush painting with this paint. Try to avoid masking Alclad, it has a tendency for the tape to lift the paint, that is a drawback and applying a varnish will tone down the metallic effect. Make sure, if you have to mask over it, that you tone down the tackiness of the tape by placing it on you clothes or skin several times. However, if you want a realistic metallic effect on your subject, this is the best paint I have found.

    Alclad Chrome over gloss black! Surprisingly reflective metal finishes! A game changer!

    I am very impressed! Alclad Chrome over gloss black lacquer! Use as recommended on various you tube channels, and you will have a very surprisingly reflective polished aluminum look on your aircraft model. You can then use methods to tone down reflectivity if desired. I did not clear coat. Durability is not great, but it is well worth the extra effort to take extra care in handling, as this system is a game changer for achieving realistic metal effects.

    Awesome product

    Great product. Sprayed onto my cosplay foam and it worked great in my airbrush machine. Buy extra if you have a big project. Also put this OVER a gloss black to make it pop.

    Very very watery product. Doesn't fully look like the other chromed plastic, but is heading in the right direction I guess, I'll try several more coats although it's like putting on coats of water.
