Stylish, reliable, rugged outdoor watch.
I have owned this watch for two years, now. I work in the outdoors virtually every day, working in landscaping, agriculture and forestry. I work in mountains, on rivers and in the dirt. This watch has has been immersed in mud, scraped over rocks and survived two years of olive and lemon harvests. I don't abuse it intentionally, it just goes with me all the time. Other than some bad scratches on the crystal, it still works perfectly, and I never have to wind it or replace a battery. I finally wore out the original wristband, and in replacing it, was reminded of what a handsome piece it is. It's water (and bomb)-proof, rugged, reliable, with a sophisticated style. 40mm is good size
This is a nice looking "busy" watch from a trusted brand. Being solar powered it never needs a replacement battery. All functions work as expected. Be aware that the bezel is polished and the rest of the case is brushed. I changed the strap from canvas to a NATO style which I find more comfortable. The lugs are 20mm. Good value and recommended.

Suggestions for making the watch more usable
I gave this watch a try because it’s not too big (41 mm) and the band width is 20 mm. The lug-to-lug width of 20 mm is important because that allows me to try my old Citizen stainless steel band. The original canvas band that comes with the watch is just not very usable if you wear it on a daily basis. I found unlike most watches that the band pin holes in the watch are located towards the lower “edge” of the lugs, they are almost situated exactly in the “center.” That makes it very different to get a nice fit of my old band in this watch. After a few tries, I found the best approach is to use heat shrink tubing as spacers to fit my old band in this watch (see photo). The watch has bright luminous hands and chronograph works well. Here are a few simple suggestions for Citizen to make ... I gave this watch a try because it’s not too big (41 mm) and the band width is 20 mm. I found the second hand is difficult to see especially with the rather long tail of the chronograph second hand. The 24 Hr hand is very useful in date setting but otherwise it’s rarely used. 3. The watch can be made less busy and more readable by removing the two inner circles in the top subdials and by simplifying some unnecessary markings and labels in the subdials.
