Well written and very interesting account of a life lived as a hobo so many years ago. A good read.

  • Great Book about theivin in the early 1900's....

Great acount of the life of a proffesional thief around the turn of the 19th century. Great social critique on the prison system and its inability (also applicable now) to reform prisoners. Great writting style, lots of action, a little critique and the borring parts skimmed over. Crazy stories of burglurizing house, escaping jails, riding freight trains, hanging out in bum camps, opium dens, wine dumps and others interesting scenes and scenarios of the early 1900's underworld. Its sometimes hard to put down. Recomended to all.
