    Probably easier to train a normal cat but not so much with a super neurotic one. Plus, he never had to wear a collar before so the one required to hold the chip got stuck in his mouth and he chewed his own tongue off and had to be put down. The chip would be better implanted but if not make sure the collar is tight enough. But not too tight of course.

    One of our cats has to eat a special food with medication mixed in. This feeder fits our needs perfectly allowing only him access to the food. The reason for the 4 stars is because when operating by battery power it is not reliable. I believe it is because the door does not close tightly enough to hold the batteries in place so they shift. One reason I chose this feeder tho was because it had the option to plug in and was not solely reliant upon batteries. Works perfectly if plugged in.

    Item shipped quickly and was easy to set up! Works great, but did have to elevate a bit off the floor to get the rfid tag to activate the bowl but my dog figured out quickly how to open the tray to eat.

      They work okay, my Australian shepherd has figured out she can push the lids open with mild pushing on it so doesn’t really serve hope purpose
