    Gretzky 06 the best nhl game for ps2

    This game was great. I bought this on ebay. I have read 3 reviews ( in big name video game mags. and internet sites)on this game and they all said that Gretzky is the best nhl game for ps2. I'd recommend this highly. The only bad thing is that this does not feature crosby and does not have an updated roster. You can update your roster through your internet adapter though. But I don't know if it will put crosby on the roster. Go get this for the ps2.

    The game is really good and so are the graphics etc. However, feel like there is too much to control and handle when you play the game and just becasue the game is so fast, no control over the puck. Little more advantage to the player would help. However, overall the game is awesome and highly recommended for any hockey fans.

    Score BIG with this Game

    I purchased this game for my 9 year old godchild and he has not put it down. He loves all the GREAT arena and player data. He enjoys the depth of the levels and that there is always something new to discover. He has received about a dozen other PS2 games but GRETZKY is #1 in his book.

    Doesn't work

    The game did not work in my PS2 console. Tried to put an old game to make sure it wasn't my setup and my other games work fine. The disc seems to be fine but the game just doesn't load. Just shows disc read error.

    Great game for true hockey fans

    I am always looking for the perfect hockey game for the ps2, I own a few others but the thing that sets this one apart is the AHL license. I love the AHL. The graphics are A+ but the gameplay is only a C+. I would recommend it but it is not the best I have ever played.
