    A No talent Sequel

This sequel to The Prince & Me casts the same actor as the prince but really falls flat on the new princess'. It's no surprise they couldn't find another Julia Stiles to star as Paige Morgan since most of their cast are struggling sub B actors. I realize now that the multi talented Julia Stiles literally carried the whole original show and all of the remakes are progressively painfully disappointing to say the least. I only gave this two stars because the 3rd and 4th pathetic remakes don't even rate one star combined. Luke Mably struggles in this episode as the prince like a fish out of water and gets progressively worse in each episode which should also be blamed on the directors and production crews. Buy the original version and hurry fast and quickly sell the others before they become ...

  • Ok......one thing

It was an ok movie. I agree about the actors though. Should have stuck more to the original. One thing I have to point out, that I can't believe others haven't: THERE IS NO WAY AN ANTIQUATED(MEANING "OUTDATED") LAW COULD BE VALID. In Europe royalty is not the law of the land, so the royals are private citizens, and can marry who they want, and no one could stop them. They didn't have to find a loophole. Was Eddies mother looking for an excuse for him not to marry Paige again? If so she's a back-stabber. She talked about protecting the monarchy not the law. Maybe she was scared though, so maybe she's not a back-stabber. I don't believe for one minute though, that they would have to find a loophole in a case like this, though. Chantell

  • A neccessary sequel?

Hollywood is all about sequels! It's hard to watch any movie these days, especially one that does well at the box office, without getting the inevitable sequel or 2 or 3 or more. One has to wonder at times whether or not these slew of sequels is worthwhile? Way too often, the answer is a profound "NO!" Most rarely come close or live up to the original in both draw & quality. This brings us to this film, The Prince & Me 2: The Royal Wedding (2006). One need only look at the cast list to raise some doubts about whether this sequel should have been made. 2004's The Prince & Me featured very few recognizable names as it was & none of them returned for the sequel. In fact, the only returning cast member is Luke Mably who plays the prince. Everyone else has been replaced including the other ...

  • A must see! Awesome movie!

This is a continuation of the Prince and Me. A royal cousin, Albert, wants his daughter to be the queen of Denmark and uses an ancient law to prevent the wedding of Edward and Paige to interject his daughter, Kirsten as the bride. Kirsten portrays herself as a friend who is there to help Edward and Paige. She does everything she can to break them up. Edward doesn't want to believe his childhood friend would do what Paige is telling him Kirsten is doing. This causes a problem for the couple and Paige leaves the castle believing Kirsten has won and Edward wants the match. She recognizes Edward's "Diplomatic" smile and realizes the marriage to Kirsten is not what Edward wants. With the help of her friends Paige finds a later law that states a future queen doesn't have to be of noble ...
