it fits an MT-09 2014 to date
If your bike has tapered handlebars you might want to cut a few strips off a "soft" drinks can and shim it up a bit. The mounting bars are clear of the speedo front brake master cylinder etc on later MT-09s but the earlier ones your view of Fuel gauge etc might mean you could make a Z shaped bar for the right hand side out of a bit of Screwfix threaded bar. Small agro for the amount of weather protection you get and it looks (matter of taste) quite good. Good body protection. Ideal for slow speed commuting.
The screen seems to be well made and robust enough. The protection is excellent and it did seem stable with the supplied mounting brackets, but I did add a couple of extra stabilizing bars (belt & braces I suppose). Fitting the screen was really easy once you had studied the fittings. My only disappointment was the horrendous noise generated by the turbulence off the screen. I have changed the height and angle of the screen several times, but I cannot get rid of that noise. I am using good earplugs, but they do not alleviate the problem. Summing up I would say that it is a good commuting screen (30-40 mph), and the body protection is good, but as for high speed touring I think it would be too noisy.The screen seems to be well made and robust enough. It's o Good considering it's a generic screen. Fitting was not the most straightforward but once it's on, it does the trick. Purchased this cuz I'm going on a tour and I am very pleased with the result (keeping the wind off my chest).
