It has some flex to the blade & returns true but will take a set if flexed too far. I cut a water 2-liter & the blade didn't take a set. It isn't bad enough to return it & for the price I've definitely bought worse. I recommend it for display/costume or light cutting but it may have issues with heavy targets. OVERALL BEAUTIFUL & WORTH THE PRICE
