Product Information

In Ace Combat Advance, Namco's long-running air combat sim takes flight on Nintendo's Game Boy Advance. Presented as an overhead-view shooter, the game is set in the same near-future world as its console predecessors. Players become pilots for the "United Air Defense," a military organization formed to stand against the oppressive "General Resources, Ltd." and its elite enforcement squadron, the "Air Strike Force."<br><br>The game features destructible buildings and terrain objects; in addition to shooting down enemy craft, some missions require pilots to bomb enemy installations. Expert performance can unlock new planes for use in future missions. The cartridge offers a dozen missions in all, with a total of ten flyable aircraft and two difficulty settings. Missions take place around the globe, over an assortment of terrain types including arctic, forest, dessert, and ocean.

I'm not waiting a week to tell you that I am never ordering from this vendor again. Zero customer service, when I try to contact its not delivered. I appreciate the fact the game came quickly however the game though described as "very good" in condition didn't run in my Xbox and no matter what I did it will not read it. It's only 3 dollars but if it is advertised as very good then it should be so. Safe to say I am very disappointed in this vendor and the product that I payed for.

A good price for a cool PSP game, shipped promptly and packaged well. However, the UMD shell arrived cracked so the item wasn't exactly in good condition. The disc itself was fine. Rather than return the item, the seller offered a refund directly. I used the refund to buy some replacement UMD shells and got it working. The replacement UMD shells cost about as much as the item itself. But the seller did the right thing without hesitation, so they have my thanks. Thank you!

    Things to know about Ace Combat on the SP

    Ace Combat for Game boy Advance Sp is a good game; I bought it because the pictures on the box reminded me of the movie Top Gun (that's just me). The game play is clear and easy to follow, the story line is simple you are a fighter pilot named "Ace" and you have twelve different missions to complete. The game offers real life types of fighter planes, as well as 'real' weaponry. The game is fun and easy to play and when you get better at the game each original twelve missions that you are suppose to beat also have secondary missions to complete as an added bonus. Some of the things that I wish I could of added in or disliked are the airplane's manoeuvres, for example the L1 button while held down in game play the user can make the plane tight and turn slightly to the left or right if trying ...

    ACE Combat Advance is really a FUN flying adventure!

    I love the controls and be in control of the whole flight game. It's a FUN flying adventure! It's better on the DS system due to the view of the flight controls deck. It's also good flying with the Micro system too due to its compact size.

    THIS GAME BRINGS SHAME TO THE BEST FLIGHT SIM. EVER!

    May be it's just the limitations of the game platform, or I'm just too used to my PSP's large screen, but this game looks like if it belonged to the Game Boy Color, or something. The Ace Combat series is my all time favorite flying games, and, from my point of view, the shouldn've even bothered with making this one. Graphics are terrible!!! But as I said, it's probably due to the this platform's limitations.
