    You cant help but love Blackhawk CQC holsters with the Serpa lock. This level 2 retention holster is one of the best platforms for the money. Unlike leather holsters which can cause finish wear and require conditioning, the Blackhawk holsters are very low maintenance. Leather, although somewhat supple, if not conditioned can dry rot and discolor. Nylon holsters can also cause finish wear and trap contaminants just like leather. Kydex holsters are option, but not as durable as polyethylene. Kydex can also at times be prone to cracking. Due to the non porous nature of the material, the Blackhawk holsters make disinfecting the holster very easy to do if necessary. This typically only applies to security or law enforcement.     Blackhawk Serpa on a budget

    This Blackhawk Serpa Level 1 retainment concealment holster (CQB) is top-quality at a great price. Bought for my FNS-40 pistol. Love these holsters--especially the optional paddle feature--for the range or CCW or open carry. Your sidearm will never come loose, and it always will be presentable when you depress that finger lever: tactile and producing that trademark click.

    Seams big

    I have an FNH FNS that it seams more for the longer slide than the 4" barrel FNS. I don't know if the FNSC compact will work better or not. For as far as what is intended to do it works great.
