Product Information

Sega GT Online is a multiplayer version of Sega's hit racing game supporting Xbox Live. Up to six players can race against each other simultaneously and see how they rank against drivers throughout the country. The in-game features are otherwise the same as the original Sega GT for Xbox. Players must first earn a series of licenses to prove they have the skills to compete in high-octane races. The cash won from top finishes can be used to tweak existing cars in such areas as suspension, brakes, tires, and more, or the money can be used to purchase more powerful vehicles. <br><br>Players can then take their tricked-out vehicle online and participate in various racing circuits to see how they fare against real-life competitors. Over 160 vehicles are available to purchase or unlock from more than 20 top auto manufacturers. Also featured is the ability to trade or bet cars with other online players, allowing self-assured racers to use their pink slips as collateral. Confident racers can even talk some trash during competition using Xbox Live's voice chat support. In addition to modern cars, Sega GT Online also includes an assortment of vehicles from the '50s, '60s, and '70s.

    Online is not always better

    this game has a great start, giving you just enough money to get a low horsepower economy car. challenging courses help you work your way up, earning more money to buy better cars, and upgrade parts. you even have the option to buy used parts at a discount, saving you money, but at the same time reliability is questionable. being that this game is a few years old, finding players still online to compete against is impossible. gamers have moved on to bigger and newer games, but not necessarily better. although the tracks get a bit repetitive, and the graphics could have been a little better, for the price and freedom to upgrade your performance, it is well worth the few dollars. now only performance parts are upgradable, not looks, and tuning is not too in depth, which makes it easy ...

    Great Buy

    The game was in immaculate shape and worked perfectly. It was nice to play an older game like this after playing with newer racing games. I recommend getting yourself a copy.

    SEGA does it again! Still playing in 2012!!!

    This game may be old, not the best physics engine, or no damage whatsoever but this game gets the job done. The graphics are very impressive when you know its a 2004 game. Also, the wide variety of cars not found in any other game makes Sega GT Online worth playing. Also, the tracks are very nice. Many irregularities concerning the real car and the video game car in terms of actual performance but Hey! Its a cool game, cool cars and tracks. I even still play Sega GT 2002. Its a shame I can't play it online and unlock the 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. If deciding between 2002 and Online, grab Online because it is basically 2002 with more cars, tracks and "online playability"

    Awesome Game!

    This is my all time favorite racing game for original xbox. I would recomende this to anyone. The game is so realistic it is amazing.
