Designed for children ages three and up, Dora the Explorer: Animal Adventures offers seven locales teeming with tropical creatures including anacondas, anteaters, tapirs, monkeys, lizards, and tree frogs among others. Kids learn and improve skills connected with counting, number values, color matching, shapes, and memory while visiting Dark Mountain, Rainforest Treetops, River Rapids, Canopy, Riverbank, Understory, and the Animal Rescue Center.<br><br>Activities include catching stars and counting in either English or Spanish, spotting animals in exotic and colorful locales (visual analysis, guessing, and logic skills), helping Dora rescue animals by imitating various animal movements (spatial), and feeding animals at the rescue center. Dora and her companion Boots get help from such friends as Saltador the Explorer Star, a Pink Amazon River Dolphin, while negotiating river rapids to rescue baby animals, and play a matching game at Dark Mountain with the help of Glowy the Explorer Star. Animal Adventures features three difficulty settings, sing-along songs, a habitat maker, and the ability to print out habitats and stickers.

Dora's Animal Adventures -A Great Game for Preschoolers
My daughter absolutely loves this game! She is a huge Dora fan, and a big fan of Diego as well. This game has both! You help Dora and Diego feed andimals at the animal rescue center, check on animals to make sure they are safe, and a lot more! It is very entertaining and educational too! It teaches counting, colors, matching, and more important skills, plus working on hand eye coordination, which is so important. If given the option my daughter would play this game all day long. Great for a 5 year old
This was one of the first games I bought for my daughter when she was 4. She found it a little difficult then, but by 5 she loved it. She is 6 now and still plays it, although not quite as much. I actually like the music with this game; the Dora music is so happy and upbeat. And I like that there are a variety of things to do. It could be a little more educational.

great game. skill level should increase more due to age and learning abilities . And a few math games. you can never start too early.

well, firt the game was for my little girl(4 years old) i don't care for the game, but she can't stop playing it. so that said, over all it was a good investment.

Nice Game
Takes too long to load up on windows 7. Although my child still likes it. I guess it was a good decision based upon the price. Would recommend if this product was faster on the uploading part. Thanks
