I am 5'3" and 220lb - I knew these would be long and not fit properly but I was able to get them on and spent the day out on the creek looking for rocks. I did make adjustments when I needed to kneel or bend over because when they were fully on and straps were up I couldn't bend over easily - I slid the straps off and let the waders sag so I had more flexibility to kneel. They do have a plastic type smell, but I think that is to be expected. I think they're great.
