I can purchase 3 of these per month for what we used to pay for TV.!! Cutting the cord has saved our household $8400 since installing an antenna 7 yrs ago to receive FREE over the air programming.! This converter box would get 5 stars if the remote would operate without pointing it straight at the box. My only complaint. This purchase was to replace one just like it that had been in daily service for 7 yrs. I can't complain because it died due to a lightning event.

This is the 2nd one purchased. The 1st one stopped working after about 1 year. I see many others saying the same thing. Turns out the unit itself is fine, it was the power adapter that died. I used the power adapter from the new one on the old one and it works fine. So the power adapter seem to the problem and it may have been a blown fuse in the adapter
