Excellent Headset, great quality and only 1 minor flaw.
Great quality headset, really loud and good bass, love the nice added feature for quick mute and volume dial. The cord jacks could be a bit thicker. What I did find however is that if plugged into a digital audio jack you will get loud feedback from the mic, this a drawback to those who don't have standard audio ports in their device but again if you're gonna use it for gaming more than likely your pc or laptop won't have this problem unless your using a usb sound card or something to that effect. Overall for the Price and the product it is well worth.
This is a great headset for Pro Gamers, and those who like to hear good sound. The 40mm drivers in this headset give a good bass response. This is the second pair of this product that I have owned. The only downfall to them is over the years the stiff plastic of the headband becomes brittle and from continuous on and off use my headband just snapped in half one day. This could be a manufacturing flaw in the plastic, but you just never know. The original one I purchased lasted me about 3 years. Overall, I think it's a good gaming headset for the price.
The reason why I bought 777 better than 780, is because you can also use headset with 3.5plug. I loved it. Also the USB sound card is not bad, but not the best. I'd say it's good enough for playing games, but if you're a Hi-Fi lover and looking for the best, it's not the one that you're looking for. Unfortunately, the support from Plantronics is not ended, so I want to warn people. But, I also want to tell you that these headphones doesn't break well, and it doesn't need driver to work.The reason why I bought 777 better than 780, is because you can also use headset with 3.5plug. these where a gift for my nephew. he loves his games and movies. he has stated to me that they are the best sounding ever.

Good value for the money!
Great headset. I already had the Plantronics Gamecon 367's which is basically what this headset is combined with an USB soundcard that emulates 7.1 surround sound. Does exactly what it says it does and I enjoy watching movies with them on.
