    A great introduction to McGarrity's character Kevin Kearney!

    I enjoyed reading Michael McGarrity's first book of the series, Tularosa. I had been given the second book in the series: "Mexican Hat" by a friend to read. I am very glad that I waited! I am now reading the second book "Mexican Hat" - free of guilt or remorse! I also like to look at the map of New Mexico while I'm reading. As a child, we took a family vacation to Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado. The beauty of these places are still in my memory!

    It is good reading, but the cast of characters should be explained in the start of the book if you read other Michael McGarrity's books later on with the same characters you forget the relationship to previous books.
