This scope was packaged just as well and came with a sun shield just as the Vortex did. Obvious quality and great value in this scope with a fantastic price. Mounting was simple and it bore sighted quickly. It even came with a feature the Vortex scope didn't, lockable adjustment turrets. Pull them up to adjust and push them back down to lock. The appearance and condition are fantastic. I like Vortex, but I could've saved $

I put this on a 308 rifle and you really have to hold on because it's a little sketchy with your eye about 1 1/2"from scope! It doesn't hold precise zero, you won't be winning any marksmanship awards. But it's close enough you can kill a deer. Overall I'm not unhappy.
