    Strong and Reliable

    All though I have only used the reel a few times. The reel has function perfectly. I have caught a few gator trout, a 30 inch red and a few other species of fish with it. The bait runner feature with a live pin fish on it is deadly.

    Mounting stem flexes causing wobble

    I bought an ABF 30-b reel. I am happy with the quality of the reel except that it is too weak. When fighting a good fish using a reasonable drag setting the reel wobbles back and forth because the mounting stem flexes. I would not buy another one to use for catching fish although it is nice to look at and the mechanism works well. It would be great for pan fish.
