Item arrived in condition described and well packed. It would have been nice to combine shipping for both items, but that wasn't an option. Everything else was nice about the transaction.

  • Re-recording Better Than the Original Soundtrack

Vertigo is one of Bernard Herrmann's finest scores, and there are only two serious choices for the listener-the original soundtrack or this re-recording. Although the original is perfectly ok, this re-recording has better sound, which makes for a richer listening experience. It is so good, it sounds like it should be the original soundtrack. If you are buying a Vertigo CD, start with Joel McNeely's recording, and get the original as well if you wish to compare the two.

  • No Loss in Performance and Now Great Sound

I love the original recordings but I am an audiophile and the re-recordings are so much better in so many ways...the only drawback might be the interpretation of the music by another conductor at another time. This re-recording is exceptional.
