About this product

Product Information

Guide young Pocahontas and her rambunctious raccoon friend Meeko in a side-scrolling adventure based on Disney's animated film. Originally released on the Genesis, the game involves acquiring nine animal spirits so Pocahontas can prevent a war between her Powhatan tribe and the English settlers. Each new spirit grants the young princess a power, such as the ability to swim, land softly from a high jump, or to swing from tree branches. To earn an animal spirit, Pocahontas must first free her forest friends from various predicaments with the help of Meeko.<br><br>As in the Genesis game, players can switch between the pair at any time and use each character's strengths to advance past obstacles, such as rocks, rivers, and trees. Meeko can jump into Pocahontas' arms to reach higher areas, for example, while Pocahontas can push large objects. As players progress through the game's 15 levels, venturing out into the enchanted glade, Indian village, and settler's fort, they will receive passwords to resume their adventure at a later time. Pocahontas also features pre-programmed colors and control settings when used with the Super Game Boy accessory.

    Pocahontas Game Boy Game

    I decided to buy this game because I am passing my son's GameBoy onto his 3 year old sister, as he got a PSP for his birthday. This Pocahontas game is ridiculous, neither my 9 year old son, my 4 year old daughter, or I can figure out how to get past the first 30 seconds of the first level. If it were just me that couldn't figure it out, I'd think it was just my stupidity, but if my son can't figure it out, there must be something wrong with the game!! :) Definitely would not recommend this game.

    Pocohontas Game Boy

    The game is in working condition. When sold it is listed as a "Rare" product. However, my kids cannot play the game. It does not come with instructions and if very difficult to figure out what is going on. I would not suggest to buy a product that you are not familiar with or if an instuctional booklet is not included.

    pocahontas game

    i think the game is good. I decided to buy the game for a friend. She will try every game she buys until she master the game. Then she will have me play the game until i master it and beat the game. Then we will have a male friend play and do the same. Or we will all play the game at the same time. And changelled each other. I feel that game boy games and systems are not just for kids. Adults sometimes have fun too.
