    Excellent family values

    A great movie showing how it is possible to remarry when both partners have a large number of children under the age of 18. There is no vulgar language nor scenes, thus, excellent family values displayed!

    One of my Top Movies of All Time

    This movie is funny, romantic, heartwarming and feels real. A good mix of chaos and quiet. I especially liked it since I come from a big family. I couldn't relate to the newer remake with Dennis Quade which seemed too unrealistic and disconnected from what really big families are like. I liked how the father was manly and the mother was womanly in this one. We don't see much on TV now where the dad takes control of situations and mom supports him in a healthy way. Sometimes we forget things could be different until we watch old movies like this. Its engaging to see how they make the new family work. We've watched it many times.

    A great classic movie!

    I have loved this movie since I saw it on TV when I was a kid. Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball are great in this movie and Van Johnson is funny and great too. My grandson laughed at the bar scene when Ball's eye lash dropped into the drink and Van made one of his funniest lines in the movie. It's a movie that gets to the heart about what love and marriage is really all about.

    Great Family Comedy

    It is wonderful family movie with great characters and a lovely Lucille Ball. The scene of the kids feeding her liquor to try and get their dad to not like her, is one of the funniest scenes ever! And Lucille is great in it! It's one of my favorite movies and makes me laugh. A real "feel good" movie.
