On the fence
When you buy blind you get some surprises. This is a nice case, worth the money but I wish I could have laid hands on it first. I would not have bought it. It has two compartments, one for the barrels and one for the rear stock and receiver. So you have a double layer of material/padding between the two pieces of shotgun, and that is good. I wish the two outside parts were a little more substantial or rigid. I may alter the sides and insert a thin piece of plexiglass to get the rigidity I am looking for. I don't recommend it for the reasons I mentioned but you make your own decision. I said what I like and don't like about it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Won't work with a barrel over 30"
If your shotgun has a barrel over 30" (to include extended chokes) it does not work. Additionally, if your butt pad is adjustable and adjusted off center it doesn't work. Bought it so I would not have to lug around a big heavy case at shoots, but just doesn't work with any barrel over 30" and adjustable stock. Shotgun case
Good materials and construction. No thread ends hanging loose . Seems to be made of quality materials. Large inside sleeves staggered so stock and barrel don’t come into contact. Full length Velcro closures on the sleeves. Great price. It would be perfect if the corners and zipper end tabs were real leather but it looks good and works well so, no real complaints especially for the price. You get what you pay for.
For less than $40 this is a good buy. I wanted this as opposed to a full shotgun case because of my storage needs. If that’s not a concern, you can get a nicer case for the same price tag. The “leather” is more like a vinyl. I was able to fit my choke tube case in with the stock and trigger assembly side. Wouldn’t have fit on the other side with the barrels. Well made but the inside sleeves overlap too much when closed. But for short term transporting it works well. I slip each part into a sleeve before putting them in the bag.
