    They seem to be doing their job, they are rated for 2500 degrees heat, as far as looks, the color blue came off on our hands as we had to handle them to install them. There are no instructions, or tips. They are not easy to install. An old spark plug comes in handy as a tool to help hold the spark plug wire still while you are wrestling the heat shield over the wire. A better design, would have been a split sleeve that snaps back together or maybe heat proof Velcro.
