The book is easy to use and very informative. I like the way it is set up to determine which vitamins or supplements are best to use. I enjoy reading and learning more about health issues. I bought it so I could have this knowledge accesible at home. I have used this book before at Whole Foods Market.

This book is pretty well laid out and easy to use. I've tried a couple of things from the book and so far so good. Pick your condition. It explains a bit about what it is. (Example: what is high blood pressure really.) Gives a list of symptoms and root causes. Then testing techniques - how the doc would find out if you have whatever it is. Treatment options. A list of vitamins and/or minerals to boost whatever you're missing. Some recommendations. Then homeopathy, acupressure, massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, (these are from the blood pressure section) stress reduction recommendations. And references. The book gives you lots of options for treating even the most simple ailments. There are black & white drawings in the back incase you need to know where your parts are. ... This is a great book, especially for a beginner in herbal medicine, like me. It is very well written and is easy to understand. The bulk of the book covers specific physical problems and illnesses and the natural cures for them. However, I like the fact that in other parts of the book it gives overviews of the many areas of alternitive medicine such as; acupressure, homeopathy, reflexology, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, and more. After reading it, I felt a lot more informed about the world of alternitive medicine.This is a great book, especially for a beginner in herbal medicine, like me.
