The metalwork has always been good but the electrical was substandard and needed upgradi GOOD news is the manufacturer has finally upgraded the electrics and I am pleased.     Good

    This is the best generation of these heated 30L pots. We have been using them for about 4 years and the electrical wiring has finally gotten reliable. We do add some features to make them work better for us; A latch to hold the cover open. We run them hot at about 150C so we have to insulate them to prevent burns. We also have to remove the sight tube and plug the holes because of the high temp. The original ball vale will melt at this temperature, so we have to replace it with a high-end American valve. The valve heater they provide is a great idea but it will overheat since it is not on a thermostat. Rewiring the valve heater to the main tank heater relay helps. We shorten the front legs so the tank drains better. Most of the upgrades are easy except for the insulation, I would pay ...
