      Quality product, works well.

      Bought the large metal winder, medium swift and yarn counter to clean up years of stash. Table #1 was too thick to attach them. Table #2 was the right size, but plastic, so as they rocked (they will, a lot!), they kept threatening to tip/slide off. Table #3 was my Goldilocks, a Janome sewing machine table, that will accommodate all 3. It's important to try to get the yarn path as straight as possible. It's been a fun learning experience. Reset the counter before threading the yarn, so that the stretch between the counter and winder gets measured. As you near the end (coming off the swift in my case), use your hand to guide the yarn coming in, slow down, then stop as you catch the end. Slowly finish the wind so that the meter doesn't just spin as the yarn flies through. They work very well ...

      Easy to use gives great useful informatiom if you're a knitter and good quality apparatus

      Its easy to use. Its great to know how many metres an unmarked skein of knitting yarn is. Helps to buy better, not so much left over balls or skeins when the project is completed. I will be using this alot.
