Aerosmith: Toys in the Attic: Best album of a great band! Keep Rockin'.

I always believed this was their very best album. It is what originally drew me to the group as a teenager. I had it on record and cassette and had to have it on CD to listen to reminisce in my old age. I certainly have a few toys in my attic (brain). Get this and enjoy! Lots of great songs on it.

  • A classic Aerosmith album from the 70's

One of Aerosmith's great albums from the 70's. Every song on this album rocks. I bought the album on vinyl way back when in '75 when it first came out. Later got it on cassette, and since then both formats have been played to the point of being worn out. Blew alot of speakers, and disturbed a lot of neighbors with this one. Then got the CD for it back when CD's were new. But I needed a new copy of it. CD's will take a lot more abuse than vinyl or cassettes, but after 20 years it was time for a new one. Still sounds great after all this time. Sounds great turned up LOUD. I this recommend this album to anybody who was not born yet when this came out, or never got around to hearing the 70's Aerosmith. I think they sold a lot more albums in the 80's, but the 70's stuff they did is ...

  • It's A Treasure in the Attic

Released in 1975, Toys in the Attic proved Aerosmith finally had their "Led Zeppelin-meets-Rolling Stones" sound fine-tuned. Steven Tyler's signature voice and style really show through on this album, and the guitar work by Joe Perry is highlighted with powerful playing and great riffs on tracks such as "Walk This Way" and "Sweet Emotion." "Toys in the Attic," the CD's first song, starts things off right with a beat that will make you want to get up and dance. This CD offers a nice variety in sounds and beats. A sure-hit for any Aerosmith fan, and a nice showcase of their early work!

  • Loud rock and roll that can move you.

Ok I mostly want to reccomend this cd to the kids in their teens and 20s so they can expand their horizons and hear what Stephen Tyler and the other guys in Aerosmith were doing when they were your age, im 34 and here is my take on this album. The three songs on this cd that blow me away the most are Stephen tylers awesome vocals and piano playing on the epic power ballad YOU SEE ME CRYIN, The perfect once in a lifetime, love at first site hook up between hard rock and funk on SWEET EMOTION and ROUND AND ROUND, Slow powerful heavy metal, Aerosmith style There is not one bum track on this cd, buy it if you want loud rock and roll that can move you.

  • Toys in the Attic - Aerosmith

The reason that Aerosmith became so popular is this album. Excellent songs with the best one's being ones that were not overplayed on the radio. For example, Adam's apple and You see me crying. Just a terrific album from beginning to end. Would recommend to anyone. My friends have heard me talking about it since I bought it again and remembered why I liked it so much in the fist place years ago
