Cheaply made, too light weight, and the controls are fluky!
It does not work. If you add the resistances, the switches, which are inferior, to not effectively combine the values of the resistances on my DMM. The case is plastic and the device therefore does not have enough weight to hold it down when you use it. They should have added a weight inside to keep it stabilized if they were going to use the cheap plastic case. The case is also smaller than what it appears to be in the photos. If you finagle with the switches, you can sometimes get them to make contact and the resistances then add up somewhat. But you should not have to do anything with the switch other than slide them to the ON position.It does not work. Good testing tool.
If you want to test the wire harness and the dash display, set the value to show an engine at operating temp, then set a value that would be over heating and see what the display shows. See if the fan turn on at the temp it should and so. Its a good testing tool.
