My first ever purchase of sheep hide so I don't have anything to compare it with. But the piece I received is evenly dyed, soft, and appears to be off high quality. I will use it to ask a holster liner and it glued well to veg tanned bovine leather. From what I can tell this hide was a good value and I am well satisfied.

I rarely need leather so I purchased this because it was a good price. The description stated that there were holes in the skin but I thought I would be able to work around them. The holes were in the center of the skin. My advice would be to contact the seller before purchasing and explain what you are looking for. My fault, not the sellers.
