    These bulbs have a deep dimple for the beacon pin to set in. Other bulbs I've used have more of a distorted flat on top instead of a dimple making the beacon harder to center on the bulb. Additionally, the deeper dimple puts the heat source closer to the beacon fins. Being centered and closer to the heat source should improve the beacon rotation.
