Nicely detailed model finally with actual cut out disk wheels
One of the final offerings of First Gear 1:34 scale diecast truck models from the 1990's and early 2000's was the 1937 Chevrolet truck, offered in several body styles including wrecker, stake truck, and van body truck. First Gear made improvements in the models, especially the disc wheels, in the 1937 Chevrolet truck models. The disc wheels are finally actually cut out rather than just stamped with depressions to resemble the wheel cut outs. The 1937 Chevrolet truck models are generally well detailed. The Chevrolet A Series trucks from the mid-1930's to 1941 were the last Chevrolet and GMC trucks which were styled like the contemporary Chevrolet automobiles. They were replaced by the 1941-47 AK Series trucks, the first light trucks to be styled independent of the automobiles. The ...
