Very happy with my short KBar
I wanted a Kbar for the usual reasons. Sturdy, full tang, built to last. I live in Texas, which has a (silly) law about carrying knives with a blade over 5.5 inches. The short K Bar has a 5.25 inch blade so I don't have to worry on that account, and it's still big enough and strong enough to do what I need to do with a knife.

Sharp out of the box good size for smaller and light work. Not a big fan of the sheath and use the plastic one that came with another short tanto. Overall satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

The Kabar 1251 Short , by my estimation , is a fine and strong fixed blade knife . Appears to be tough as nails , has good balance , and fits my hand well . A good size for me that fits in my bug out bag . I recommend it highly .
