Love them!!!!
These are the first really high quality headphones that I've owned. But man, they sound and feel great. Smooth rich tone comparable to listening to a high quality stereo. You can picture a realistic sound stage with substantial but not overwelming bass. I often use them out of the back of my iMac with no trouble at all. If you are looking to move beyond the sub-$100 range but not ready for the ultra-high end, these guys are a great choice.These are the first really high quality headphones that I've owned. Very efficient 250ohm headphones.
My laptop and desktop 3.5 earphone ports were able to produce an open stage with excellent separation of instruments with these headphones. I may get as dac someday but for what I listen to, I'm not sure a dac is necessary.
