  • One of the better ones

I've used these guys' Vector Mechanics Statics and Dynamics textbooks, and this one pretty much runs parallel with those. The layout of material is very similar, and instructions with examples and background are very clear and easy to understand. Pretty decent text book by my standards (nearly fifth year college student).

  • mechanics of material

I bought the book because my daughter needed it for a college course. Although the book was brand new and I was assured in the description that it was exactly the same as the US version, it did not mention that the problems would use the metric version. So the book became completely useless for my daughter, due to the fact she desperatly needed for class we had no time to look for another one we had to buy a new one in the bookstore, oach.... it became a very expense ordeal!

  • Internatiol Edition

I like that this edition (it's in international edition) was so much cheaper that what I would have paid at my college's bookstore. I don't like that the units are not the same for all the problems and that for some of the problems the numbers are different.

  • Very helpful to my classes, the example are great!!!

Very helpful to my classes, the example are great for helping me to understand what the regular book is trying to explaine, to oftan the instuctor or the regular book can be a little vauge on how to set and solve the problem. This has help me to learn by example.

  • Mechanics of Materials book

This book is good and has a good releavant examples of the application of the material at the beginning of the section. Throughout the books chapter it has "Sample Problems" worked out that help out a great deal in how to solve out most of the other problems in the sections.
