About this product

Product Information

PRINCIPLES OF MICROECONOMICS continues to be the most popular and widely used text in economics classrooms today. The fifth edition features a strong revision of content in all 36 chapters while maintaining the clear, accessible writing style and precise presentation that are the hallmark of this highly respected author. Dozens of new applications emphasize the real-world relevance of economics for today's students through interesting news articles, realistic case studies, and engaging problems. The new edition also features an expanded instructor's resource package designed to assist in course planning and classroom presentation, as well as full integration of content with Aplia."I have tried to put myself in the position of someone seeing economics for the first time. My goal is to emphasize the material that students should and do find interesting about the study of the economy."--N. Gregory Mankiw.

  • Great Book Love it!

Great Book! I used it for my intro economics class! The graphs are easy to read and understand! I thought that the book was very easy to understand and follow along! I really like that it had real life example or Case studies where they show you a real life example of the topic that the book is discussing!

  • Principles of Microeconomics

This is what I'm coming to expect from current textbooks, after a few recent classes. It has chapters on difficult concepts that are trying to be made more interesting by LOTS of charts, related stories about the topic, etc. It would be helpful if the actual wording of explanations of those concepts was a little clearer at times, rather than the "busy" appearance of these newer textbooks, which kind of gives me a headache. Basically, just explain things clearly, concisely, and then give me a quick example to clarify that way. I decided to buy it because it was required reading for the course.

  • great service

I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

  • Economics book

I bought this book for my economics class. I use it often, it is quite helpful. Bought it for a GREAT price due to what my school was selling it for. International edition, which was a little strange but its the same as any other book of its kind.

  • good product

Great product for the price and was the required book for the class but it didn't include the aplia access code which is a program I use to turn in homework. So if your class requires aplia then this book would not be the best buy, otherwise it's good.
