These are not the official ‘matchstick monkeys’ but they’re close enough and do the same job. The main differences are: The eyes are different - in these monkeys the eyes are bigger and look like alien eyes! The grooves for the monkey’s feet and paws are shallower.However, we sterilised these monkeys by boiling them on the stove and they didn’t melt. They claim to be BPA free, and my son still likes holding and munching them, so they’re a win in my books.
