The XTOOL D7 OBD2 scanner doesn't have direct programs for a lot of old cars, like a 1998 Ford Explorer, 2003 Mercury Mountaineer, 2005 Lincoln Towncar, 2006 Ford F150, but even so, i was able to get some things done, like checking systems, and programming spare keys for all. A+++++++++ Seller!!!

I recommend this scanner, it’s the best for it’s price, comparing to other manufacturers, I own the Otofix D1 light & Autel MK808, so far this scanner it’s better for the options that offers for my vehicles, the only one downside about it, the user interface it’s kind older still, and remember there’s no one scanner can offer you all options you looking for.

ITEM is very sturdy !! It will MOST definitely handle Autos of 2005 on with a Lot of Features !! Unfortunately, my 1999 Jeep GC wasn't too well covered by "special features" . I'm totally sure it will read your codes on ALL cars and allow some "special features", not to mention the bi-directional support. I needed it for CAMSHAFT TIMING ALIGNMENT and it does not support that, unfortunately. Again IT WILL SUPPORT OLDER CARS too and WELL, just not what I needed so it gets 5 STARS !!
