    very good controller

    This controller is working very well charging 4 deep cycle 12 Volt marine batteries at an off grid cabin. Charging to best level, better than at home plug in charger even. Using two 100 watt solar panels in series for best voltage. Limited full sun light, in October, with trees on two sides only getting full sun about 4 hours, partial before and after. Charging even in partial light. Have been impressed how well everything is working so far.

    Works great!

    Connect all your cables as directed in the manual and you’ll have no problems. Batteries still 100% after 2 years. It would be nice if the connections allowed for larger gauge cable but they are the right size for the cables as designed.

    Best of $100 charge controllers

    Everything I've seen by renogy is excellent. These 20a charge controllers are very nice, best in their price class. I built suitcase solar generators with them This an an inverter on the outside and lithium batteries inside.
