Now that I've used it I wouldn't necessarily recommend this particular sewing machine to anyone else. The needle threader was more trouble than just manually threading the needle, the bobbin winder was difficult to operate smoothly, taking several tries to get a well wound bobbin, and the bobbin thread kept popping out of the bobbin case. I bought this for a beginner. I hope they don't hate me for it.
