Forming Bad Habits?
Gatorskins are tough, period. While training, I just roll through glass bits and debris, with a quick wipe off with the gloves, not even changing cadence. Unthinkable habit if riding on the Vittoria's, or heaven forbid tubulars. For our rougher roads, especially after the fri/sat night redneck "chuck a beer bottle out the pick-em-up truck window" debris, it's much safer to ride consistently straight and keep your line, rather than dodging small bits in the roadway. I'm sure drivers appreciate not seeing me ride like a drunk Swiss toddler. Good Luck, Cheers!Gatorskins are tough, period. Excellent tires
I've had this brand and model of bike tire before. I keep buying them because they last a long time and, more importantly, go more miles than any other tires I have tried. Not cheap, but sometimes you get what you pay for. That applies here.

Great tires for small road bike
It is hard to find good road tires for small road bikes. I've used Continental tires for years. These are their current version and they are exactly what I want...they roll well and seem to be puncture resistant.
