  • Moderate speed, reliable card, but little space for identification.

About 98% of my 70+ Compact Flash cards are made by Sandisk because many / most camera manufacturers seem to recommend the Sandisk brand. In any case, I've found Sandisk cards to be very reliable. The "Extreme" Sandisk card ranks about in the middle of the recording speed lineup of Sandisk cards. The "Extreme III" and "Extreme IV" cards are somewhat faster. Ordinarily, sheer recording speed isn't that big a deal unless you've got a high-end / professional camera that can take advantage of the additional speed. To a professional sports photographer, aditional speed might help some, but to a landscape photographer it's not likely to make much difference. My only gripe -- and it's true of any brand card -- is that there's precious little space on either side to write notes on the card ...

  • Good product!

Use this compact flash memory chip in your digital camera to take and store hundreds of high quality photos. Insert the chip in a hi-speed card reader, connect it to your computer or laptop, and copy any or all of the images onto your hard drive, or attach them to e-mails. Flash memory cards are highly reliable and a great way to store pictures.

  • Good smaller capacity cards

I like smaller cards so I swap out for safety unsing my dslr. These cards are fast enough for 12mp cameras love them

  • Bought for my Sony DSLR and it works great.

I bought this to use with my Sony Alpha DSLR. It work great and i recommend it. I am shooting with a Sony a350 and can get about 180 photos on it in RAW mode. I don't shoot a lot in continuous mode, but when shooting an event, I've never had to wait for the camera to buffer onto the card so it's fine for me.

  • it works the same as the plain old non-extreme cards.

i bought this cf card for my olympus camera. i needed a cf card and bought it because it was a fair price and it was located in the us. im not sure what the extreme part of it does. its the only extreme cf card that i have and it works as good, not any better, than any others i have. one day, ill read the manufacturers remarks on why they rate it as extreme!
