    Dr. Seuss rules

    I’ve always loved Dr. Seuss ever since I was a little kid and was first starting to read. Dr. Seuss books were the perfect vehicle to help me develop my reading skills at an early age even before first grade. “Horton Hatches the Egg” was my first Dr. Seuss book. I received it as a hand-me-down from my older brother. Before I could read it I must’ve loved it, because my Mother said I took it with me everywhere and that’s what prompted her to sign us up for a regular mail order service to receive new Dr. Seuss books every so often. They were so easy to read and I liked them so much that later I even memorized certain ones such as “The Berenstein Bears ‘B’ Book, Green Eggs and Ham, Hop On Pop,” and “A Fox In Socks.”
