power in tight spaces
This product is the perfect compromise of power, utility and size. 4 to 5 times the torque of battery units and much smaller envelope and lighter than heavy commercial rough-in angle drills. The variable speed drive makes it perfect for most tight environment work whether drilling, fastening, or milling.

Close quarter, quality drill!
Excellent tool, quality is top-notch. At maximum speed it is very quiet and smooth running. The compact size lends itself to operating in tight quarters. The Makita made, Jacobs style, three-jaw geared chuck is attached in such a way as to make the tool very compact. The advantage of the conventional chuck, as opposed to a keyless chuck, enhances the ability to operate in close quarters.

Great drill and price!
This drill has power, I compared it with other similar in its class made by reputable manufacturers, the only one who beats it in power is the hitachi (by 0.6 amps, big deal!) which is irrelevant, However nobody can beat it in getting into very innaccesible quarters!
