Love this model because the battery lasts so long. Model can get pics but not video. Arrived in great condition. Very minor wear and tear as expected; all keys, lights and sound work great; screen wasn't scratched which was nice for a used phone.

We picked this phone after having partnered with with the Samsung enV3, which while similar, is in our opinion, far superior. If you need a qwerty keyboard, shop elsewhere. The keyboard on the Intensity II is anything but "natural" when compared to other celly keyboards. It's clumsy, and difficult to message quickly. Perhaps the greatest hassle of this phone is the odd keyboard lockout system. Press the center button, then another button to the right, then back to the center button. If you're a quick study, maybe you'll catch on. But for us normal mortals, by the time you've fumbled through the unlock procedure, that important phone call awarding you $10,000 has already gone kaput! Or on the other hand, when the Mogul hordes are galloping down the block toward you, it's a sure-bet that you'll never have time to dial up for reinforcements. All in all, we've had this phone for a month and are ready to hurl it into the nearest concrete block wall. Not one of Samsung's best efforts.Read full review

Been awhile since I purchased my phone. Wanted enough time to really get to know this product before reviewing. I can use my phone all day txting and call all day (note I don't use phone based internet) and I don't actually have to charge it that night. overall I have no complaints about this phone. It's reasonably easy to use and to learn how to use features. So when everything seems ok to good and then it has a great battery life... for myself I've got to say it was a great value. Hopefully anyone else making this purchase feels as good about it as I do.
I love that this phone does not require the use of a data package. I am a little old fashion in the sense that I usually just talk or text and do not use the Internet on my phone. So many product (cellular phones) are requiring the use of data packages, which can sometimes cost extra. I like that this one does not require that. Since I text alot, I also like that it has the keyboard. The only thing that could make it better is if it had a touch screen. Over all great phone.
I've had this phone for a little over a week. Overall I am pleased with it. I agree with other reviewers that the keys on the Qwerty keyboard are a little small but I wanted a smaller phone so I can deal with that. I read other reviews about how it can randomly start surfing the net and run up your bill if you don't have a data plan; I was able to block all data usage at Verizon, so it's a non-issue for me. Also, I bought this phone so my boyfriend could add a line to his plan to save us money. I didn't realize it before, but because I provided my own phone, he will not have a two year contract on that line. Score! You can't beat the price for a phone without being locked into a contract. My only issues so far are that the metallic finish on the back is already wearing in spots and I am pretty careful with my phone..it's just cheap plastic. Also, a couple days ago it started randomly shutting off and starting up again about every half hour. I took the battery out and noticed that it had some moisture that must have gotten in it when I was texting with wet hands. Once I dried it and replaced the battery it has been fine since. I've never had a phone that was that sensitive to moisture..if that's what caused it. Because it has keys on the outside, you almost have to set it up so it locks on it's own after a few seconds. This gets annoying when you're texting because you have to unlock it each time you receive a text. If you leave the keyboard open however, it doesn't lock on it's own. I cannot stand pocket dialers, so for me I leave the lock setting on and just deal with it. Overall, if what you're looking for is a basic phone for quick texting and an occasional call, this phone is decent for the price. So far the battery has been lasting 3-4 days for me which is longer than any phone I have had before. I purchased the two year warranty, so we'll see if I have any more issues other than the minor annoyances I've found so far.Read full review
