The base is about 2 mm shorter than other candelabra bulbs. Fortunately, the sockets I was putting them into I could pull the contact up. Otherwise, the bulbs would not have worked at all. The description claims 1500 lumens per bulb, but these are not brighter than the 500 lumen bulbs I got from WM (for a similar price per bulb). Neither the packaging nor the bulb list the actual specs of the bulbs. I was looking for something brighter than what I had, and these are not it.
