    Feeling confident with Firman Dual-fuel H03651

    Shortly after receiving my generator, we had a rain storm with strong winds and power loss. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use the generator because the instructions say not to use it in a carport or with a cover over this frustrated me, so I contacted the Firman company. Their suggestion was to get a specific Champion tent cover which adjusts in size so it gives air flow, yet has a couple of velcro covers to get to the needed areas. After purchasing that, I tested the generator using the propane option (my most likely source of fuel) and was able to run everything in my 15 foot RV. Also, the propane option is a lot quieter than I anticipated. I’ll have to test the gasoline option later since I’ve read several comments that say it’s loud. I feel confident that I’ll get through fine now when we ...

    I love this Generator. I am a generator nut by the way. I love having them for various duties. This one I am using is my favorite. I bought it for my travel trailer. I have it bolted on the back on a carrier. The reason why this one is so unlike the others is that the maker was wise enough to put what I call a left handed pull. Just in case you can't start it with the battery you can pull start this generator using left or right handed pulling AWAY from the RV. Most generators you would have to turn it around to start it in this manner. Well thought out. I LOVE IT!!! I also purchased a cover for this to protect it. The cover that say's; fits 3000 to 4000 fits perfect and there is plenty of power to run the air. Hope this helps you.
