    Great NES Classic

Love this game. [INSERT KENNY LOGGINS MUSIC HERE] Seriously, this game is almost more Top Gun than the Top Gun NES game. You pilot an advanced F-14VTS fighter jet, slaughtering hordes of alien invaders intent on siphoning the Earth’s energy to fuel their planet destroying laser. And yes, you can do barrel rolls, 3 years before you could do it in Star Fox.

  • Captain skyhawk

The player takes a role of a fighter pilot working to repel an alien invasion. Aliens have invaded Earth, and have built four land bases. These bases are designed to drain Earth's energy and feed it to their mother space station. The player must destroy the enemy bases and save some scientists. The game features top-down scrolling overhead isometric graphics, including simulated 3D terrain. It has 9 missions you have to complete. The controls are good and the gameplay is ok. Sometimes it gets frustrating because it's hard to tell if you're to close to a obstacle (and you die) or if you missed a dropping, you have to do the whole level again. Also, the game is kinda short Overall a good game but they could have done better. If you can buy it cheap, do it.

  • Takes me back to the good days

One of my old favorites and glad to have another copy. The games is challenging yet a lot of fun to play, definitely a game everyone should have in their collection.

  • Repetitive, but fun for what it is.

This is a good flight-simulator for its time. By that I mean it's a fun game to play as a fighter jet as far as NES goes. You could get something much better these days, but considering that it is an NES game it's quite good. The game tends to repeat itself and it gets rather dull if you're not good at it already. It's worth a try if you can spare a small amount for it.

  • Not the best game for that price

Good game but not the best game for that price
