Stroke therapy
I had a stroke about 2 days before I ordered the Baliyo. I had stumbled on one on YouTube. It looked like it would help me with my range of motion. I ordered it on eBay it arrived quickly and it was exactly what I thought would help me. The Baliyo was very light weight and the weakness of my left side from the stroke, my dominant side, prevented me from using some of the more common types of therapy, the other side of the coin was that it was very inexpensive, could be used any time, even sitting in the recliner watching tv. I'm almost 95% back to full function in my left hand, I didn't have to get any "professional" help, and I am still having fun with the Baliyo, hoping to get back to full function. I'm a retired Army medic and I knew that the best course of treatment would be to force ... I had a stroke about 2 days before I ordered the Baliyo. I had stumbled on one on YouTube. A cheaply made toy and a terrible pen
I'm really not impressed. The ink cartridge protrudes from the tip, even in the closed position. It's not pocket safe. In trying to fix it, the silver ring came off the body with the attachment tabs that held it in place. Now, nothing holds the tip on and it flies off if I try to flip it. I'm going to have to tape it back together. It's a bit too light to flip. You can flip it a bit, but it's tough. Oh well, at least it's not a fidget spinner. Don't plan on writing with it. It contains an ink cartridge for plausible deniability only. It's really horrible to write with, and the cartridge is cheap and will explode on you. The good news is that the actual ink cartridge isn't attached to the insert and pulls right out. You should be able to trim an actual functional cartridge and ... I'm really not impressed. This thing is cool
This is a great toy... The pen functionality is ok, but the tolerances in the threading of the pen pieces is horrible, so once you take it apart it'll never go back together securely. The ballpoint of the ink cartridge also sticks out just slightly when disengaged, so it's easy to Mark yourself and your clothes at any time. But it's fun to play with, which is why I say it's a great toy
