      Road to recovery

      By the grace of GOD 35 years sober... Of all the AA literature the most practical, easy read , my favorite chapter hands down is using the serenity prayer... Wisdom of GOD is what is needed most in staying sober and living life on life's terms. We will never know GOD until we need him, pain is a great motivator, in brokenness comes blessing... Don't be so concerned interpretation be more concerned about application! Any fool can learn from his mistakes BUT it takes a wise man to learn from the mistakes of others. BUY THIS BOOK IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE!

      Changing Thoughts and Actions

      Anyone can GET sober----cold turkey, in a canvas jacket with wrap around sleeves or the nice way in a rehab with tranquilizers to taper off....The REAL problem is to live life on life's terms, not get ourselves so screwed up in dealing with reality that we turn to alcohol and/or drugs to be able to stand living. This book helps with the real problem of STAYING sober, of changing our thoughts and actions so we don't get ourselves so upset about people, places and things that we need chemicals to cope with the world the way it really is.
