  • Top favorable review

Both Educational (in behind the scenes concept) and entertaining.

I read him for his excellent research... both in the primary focus and the side stories that also show me a world I never knew.

  • Thin...very thin

To those who blurb about this particular Thor effort as a "very good book"...are either going on blind hearsay or haven't read it. Firstly, the thin and whole-heartedly ludicrous plot(s) that could have easily fit in comic book form, are laboriously drawn out into a 354 page preposterous tale. Lastly, Mr. Thor constantly highlights the "honor" of Afghan people in inter-personal and inter-tribal dealings. I submit that what passes for honor among Muslims is barbaric self-preservation and could not be construed as honor, in any sense of the word. Mr. Thor would be well advised to consult experts Robert Spencer, Brigette Gabriel or Pamela Geller the next time he thinks about extolling such nonsensical and nonexistent "virtues" in future...tomes?

  • Great author

Brad Thor does his homework on situations and things that are happening today. The characters in his novels are in depth and real.

  • You have to fight terrorist, no matter where.

Brad Thor has done it again! A great read, a intricate realstic plot and both good and evil are determined to win at any cost. I have read every book by Brad Thor and will continue to do so. It is always hard to get to the last page and say goodbye to the characters for another year.
